Welcome to my site!!

As I said via About This Site I already have a game idea in mind and have been thinking about it for a while.  I will be posting my workings on here and what I’ve learned.  I will share with you as much as possible without giving the game idea away because I don’t want anyone stealing my intellectual property.  That means, if my character were going to run and jump over a lake or something, I will have a ball that moves, and it will be able to jump over a square object instead… Get it.

I am not some genius programmer that knows everything about actionscript.  In fact I will be using some books to help me get through the game making process.  I will post all the pertinent information on this site, along with some code.  DO NOT just copy and paste the code into your game, because I will be using things straight out of the book sometimes to explain things to you, so not only will you be copying from this site, but you will also be stealing code from the writer.

My Schedule is going to be my next post.  This will include the timeline I want to get everything done and posted on this site.  My first tasks will be small and will include making things move with some smaller things thrown in.  I do hope to get the game finished in relatively quick fashion though, as I would like to get back to my schooling as quickly as possible.
